What it is like
Playa de Benijo occupies a strip of dark sand at the foot of a cliff, within a landscape protected as a Reserva de la Biosfera. Its 300 metres of length and 30 metres of width form an isolated beach with medium visitor numbers, where the rugged landscape is the main feature of the whole setting. The entry records moderate surf and the possibility of practising nudism. Access on foot is easy from the TF-134 and there are fewer than 50 parking spaces; practical facilities include litter bins, cleaning services, access signage and first aid.
