Río Torrox is a beach of gravel, sand and rounded stones at the mouth of the Torrox River, beside a wetland and river-mouth frontage. It extends for 230 metres and reaches 25 metres in width, with dark sand, vegetation, anchorage and moderate waves. Its development is semi-urban and occupancy is recorded as low. Access is by car from the CN-340, with parking for more than 100 vehicles and an urban bus connection. The listing also records lifeguarding, first aid, litter bins and cleaning services.
