What it is like
Playa de Punta Entinas Sabinar is an exceptionally extensive beach, measuring 11,000 metres in length and 80 metres in width, situated in a protected natural setting without buildings. Dark sand extends between dunes, vegetation and an isolated frontage with low occupancy, exposed to wind and moderate waves. The area lies between the municipalities of El Ejido and Roquetas de Mar and forms part of the Paraje Natural and the LIFE project. Access is on foot from the AL-9006; it has cleaning services and a tourist office.
