What it is like
Playa de Cerrillos is an isolated beach in the protected surroundings of Punta Entinas-Sabinar, continuing into the municipality of El Ejido under the same name. Its 2,620 metres of length and 45 metres of width consist of coarse-grained pale sand, facing a wetland and vegetation. The swell is moderate and the beach is windy, with low visitor numbers. The area has extensive Posidonia meadow and wooden posts preventing vehicle access. It can be reached on foot or by car via the AL-3300, and offers litter bins, cleaning services, anchorage and a diving area.
