Playa Santa Cruz de La Palma is a recently constructed urban beach with 1,230 metres of dark sand and pebbles. The seafront promenade, calm waters and width of 50 metres create a broad, lightly visited space integrated into the city. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces. Practical services include toilets, showers, foot-washing facilities, food services, a tourist office and a rescue service.
