Playa Regueiro retains an isolated and little-visited character, with a profile made up of sand, cobbles and dark gravel. Its 390 metres in length narrow to a strip barely 8 metres wide, and at high tide the beach surface is practically non-existent. The semi-urban setting forms part of a protected Site of Community Importance (SCI), with calm waters. It is reached on foot or by car via the A Coruña-Ferrol road; interurban transport is also available 1.5 kilometres away.
