What it is like
Playa Alameda occupies the mouth of the Lambre River, a location that explains the presence of calm waters and defines its landscape. Its white sand extends for 450 metres, with a width of 40 metres, in a semi-urban setting of mountainous frontage, vegetation and protection under the Natura 2000 Network. The seafront promenade follows this coastal stretch, beside which there is an adjoining campsite. Access is easy on foot or by car, and there is also access for people with reduced mobility; the nearest interurban bus route is 1.5 kilometres away.
