What it is like
Playa de Cabana is a small beach of dark sand that disappears at high tide, a feature that affects its shape and use. Under ordinary conditions it reaches 100 metres in length and 20 metres in width, within a semi-urban stretch with vegetation and protection as a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Its usual waters are calm and occupancy is low. The stated access is easy on foot from the A Coruña–Ferrol road, with an interurban bus connection.
