What it is like
Playa Punta Brava, also known as Playa Grande, is an urban black-sand beach adjoining Playa Chica, 260 metres long and 40 metres wide. Its seafront promenade, vegetation and high occupancy form part of the urban fabric of Puerto de la Cruz. Access is easy on foot or by car, with parking for more than 100 vehicles and facilities for people with reduced mobility. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, food services, sports areas, children’s play areas and hire of sun loungers and parasols.
