Playa Martiánez is an urban, busy beach in Puerto de la Cruz, surrounded by natural pools. The beach is 350 metres long and 40 metres wide, combining dark sand and rounded stones along an urban coastal frontage with a seafront promenade and vegetation. Its usual conditions include moderate waves, and the site lies within an area of natural habitats of Community interest. It is easily accessible on foot or by car via the TF-31, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service. It has cleaning services, catering, litter bins and a surfing area.
