Playa El Puerto de Tazacorte is the beach of the town and extends for 410 metres between sand and gravel, with a width of 30 metres. Its urban frontage and seafront promenade coexist with Biosphere Reserve status, while moderate waves accompany an area of high occupancy. Arrival is by car, with adapted access, a bus service and parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles. Showers, catering, nautical hire, a sports area and children’s play facilities complete its everyday use.
