What it is like
Playa de los Tarajales extends beside the port of Tazacorte as a generously sized urban beach: 760 metres long and 90 metres wide. Its shore combines dark sand and gravel, with a semi-urban frontage accompanied by a promenade and situated within a Biosphere Reserve. The usual waves are moderate and access by car is direct via the LP-1, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces. It also has showers, a tourist office and adapted access for people with reduced mobility.
