What it is like

Playa Muriola is a small, sheltered beach created artificially with silica sand from a nearby quarry. Its 45 metres in length and 60 metres in width lie opposite a cliff, in an isolated setting with medium occupancy and light swell. Cars are not allowed access: it is reached by a convenient path on foot from the BI-2122. The beach forms part of a protected natural area and offers showers, litter bins, cleaning, parking and a lifesaving and first-aid service.
