What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

Playa de Gorliz forms a broad semi-urban beach of golden sand, 842 metres long and 130 metres wide. It opens onto a setting of promenade and vegetation protected as a Site of Community Importance (SCI), with moderate waves and high occupancy. From its right-hand side, at Astondo, an unprepared coastal path leads towards the lighthouse, Cape Villano and Armintza. Access is easy on foot or by car via the BI-3151, with more than 100 parking spaces, showers and hire of nautical activities.
