Playa Marfolín is an extensive golden-sand beach reaching 950 metres in length beside a dune landscape. Its semi-urban character and low occupancy distinguish it within the surroundings of El Cotillo, although it has strong waves and windy conditions. It is easily reached on foot or by car via a paved track from the settlement to the north, and has parking and connections with urban routes 7 and 8. Facilities for staying include toilets, showers, litter bins and accessible toilets, as well as cleaning services.
