Playa España forms at the mouth of the España River, surrounded by cliffs framing a beach 440 metres long and 74 metres wide. Its surface combines sand, cobbles and gravel, with golden sand, vegetation and a semi-urban setting included in a Site of Community Importance (SCI). It is a busy beach with strong waves. Access is easy on foot or by car from the AS-256, VV-2 and VV-3 roads, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles, showers and a surf area.
