What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

Playa Bestarruza is the only beach in the municipality and lies beside the built-up area of Mugardos. Artificial, urban and covered with golden sand, it is 300 metres long and 40 metres wide, with a seafront promenade, vegetation and calm waters; occupancy is low. It is easily reached on foot and has an interurban bus connection via the AC-131. Mugardos port offers moorings for recreational boats, while the beach has toilets, showers, foot-washing facilities, litter bins and cleaning services.
