What it is like
Playa de Detrás do Castillo is a small isolated beach set between Playa de Cariño and the port of A Graña. Its dark beach combines sand and rock over barely 45 metres in length and 15 metres in width, beneath a mountainous coastal frontage surrounded by vegetation. The waters are usually calm. Access is easy on foot and the CP-3612 road is nearby; there is also an interurban bus line 0.5 kilometres away. Puerto Deportivo de A Graña provides a nearby nautical reference.
