What it is like
Playa Area Fofa forms part of a group of three small beaches, together with Portocelo and Ribas Blancas, made up of rocks and sand north of the ría de Baiona. The beach is 130 metres long and 25 metres wide, on a semi-urban frontage with vegetation and moderate waves, usually with wind. Its northern end is called playa Feitales. Access combines driving with a difficult walk from the Vigo-Baiona road; there is an interurban bus service, showers, toilets and cleaning.
