What it is like
Playa Algarrobo is an urban beach of gravel and dark sand, enclosed by an area of high-rise buildings. Its 800-metre length and 20-metre width form a narrow, very busy shore, with a promenade, anchorage and waters usually experiencing moderate waves. The developed character is complemented by restaurants, hire of sun loungers and parasols, a sports area and children's games. It is reached by car via the N-340, with fewer than 50 parking spaces, an interurban bus stop 100 metres away and adapted access.
