Playa Torre del Mar, whose eastern section is called Las Arenas, is a very extensive urban beach oriented towards family use. Its 3,000 metres in length and 100 metres in width consist of dark sand and are accompanied by a seafront promenade, vegetation and a fully urban setting. The usual waves are moderate. Access is by car via the N-340, with parking for more than 100 spaces and urban transport. For everyday needs it offers toilets, showers, catering, boating hire and sports facilities.
