What it is like
Playa Lagos, also called Pijil, belongs to the Lagos neighbourhood and is distinguished by its extremely narrow strip of dark gravel. Although it reaches 2,300 metres in length, it is only 1 metre wide; the urban and semi-urban stretch runs alongside a seafront promenade and the mouth of the Lagos River. It has moderate waves, vegetation and anchorage. The main access is by car via the N-340, with parking for fewer than 50 spaces; it also has showers, foot-washing points, cleaning services, a sports area and a children’s playground.
