What it is like
Playa Mezquitilla forms, together with Playa de Algarrobo, the coastal frontage known as Algarrobo-Costa. Its 650 metres of dark rounded stones are integrated into a semi-urban setting with a seafront promenade, moderately rough waters and high occupancy. It can be reached by car via the N-340, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and interurban transport 100 metres away. Practical facilities include showers, foot-washing facilities, cleaning and a connection with the port of La Caleta de Vélez.
