What it is like
Playa de Picón is a tiny cove of rounded stones, measuring only 30 metres long and 10 metres wide, immediately west of Playa de Cueva. It is reached on foot from Los Molinos, linking it to the network of small beaches around Cabo Busto. Strong waves and low visitor numbers define its isolated character, within the Paisaje Protegido de la Costa Occidental and ZEPA and SCI areas. Access is listed as easy on foot from the N-634; Luarca is the port reference.
