What it is like
Playa del Roquete lies below the cliffs that constrain a coastline of shallow arches, beyond the small port in the area. The isolated beach of rounded stones measures 60 metres long and 15 metres wide, with wind and moderate waves. Occupancy is low and access is easy on foot, with parking and an interurban bus on the Gáldar 103–105 lines. Litter bins, cleaning and food service provide practical facilities without displacing the landscape from the foreground.
