What it is like
Playa de Martorell is a small beach of dark sand situated at the edge of the Sardina inlet, where the ravine of the same name cuts through a basalt flow. Its 35-metre length contrasts with a width of 60 metres, forming a short, open shore facing the mountains. The surroundings retain cliffs shaped by erosion, with features such as La Punta del Bufadero, Las Bajas and the Farallón. It is easily reached on foot from the GC-202, with parking and an interurban bus.
