Playa Sardina occupies a small bay in the north-west of Gran Canaria, protected from the trade winds by the Farallón de Tábata and Lomo del Faro. Its 80 metres of golden sand and 40 metres of width form a highly occupied semi-urban frontage, with waters described as calm and crystal clear. El Muelle Viejo serves as an entry and exit point for divers, while the beach offers diving, food and drink establishments and anchorage. It is reached on foot or by car, with parking, a bus service and assisted bathing.
