What it is like
Playa del Focarón is a small, isolated cove, 50 metres long and 18 metres wide, formed by rounded stones and open before a cliff. Strong waves and low use define its character, within a vegetated setting included in a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) and a Site of Community Importance (SCI). It is reached on foot with difficulty from the N-632, so the route itself should be taken into account before approaching. The listing records no beach facilities or specific services for users.
