What it is like
Playa Los Quebrantos forms an extensive strip of dark sand joined to Playón de Bayas, with the mouth of the Nalón River at its western end. Its 810 metres of length and 100 metres of width extend between dunes and cliffs, in an area protected as ZEPA and Site of Community Importance (SCI), with strong waves. The beach has a promenade, vegetation and a surf school. It is easy to reach on foot or by car via the N-632, with more than 100 parking spaces, adapted toilets and a sports area.
