What it is like
Playa de Cortello, also called Cortello Pequeño, is an isolated beach of golden sand and rock, 90 metres long and with a notable width of 70 metres. The cliff frontage, vegetation and protection from the Site of Community Importance (SCI) form an area of low occupancy, usually subject to strong swell and wind. The record emphasises the absence of services and infrastructure, although there is a campsite nearby. It is easily reached on foot from the AC-116, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles.
