What it is like
Cala del Gallito is an isolated, quiet cove set in a mountain landscape within a Protected Natural Area. Its 400-metre length and 30-metre width are covered by cobbles and gravel, with no facilities and low occupancy. Access on foot is difficult, although arrival by boat is also possible; the GR 92 trail, stage 5, is the route reference. The nearest road is the one linking Cartagena, Isla Plana and Mazarrón via the E-22.
