What it is like
Cala Aguilar is an isolated site 80 metres long and 30 metres wide, with golden sand and gravel before a protected mountainous landscape. Its waters are described as calm, and the setting retains vegetation within an Espacio Natural Protegido and ZEPA. Access is difficult, so it is usually reached by boat; Sendero GR 92 is also listed as an on-foot route. The reference road is the Cartagena-Isla Plana-Mazarrón route, E-22. The listing records no facilities, consistent with its secluded character.
