What it is like
Cala Bolete Grande is an isolated cove 100 metres long and 10 metres wide, with golden sand and a mountainous frontage within the Espacio Natural Protegido de Cabo Tiñoso. Vegetation and ZEPA protection accompany a setting where scuba diving is identified as a suitable activity. Access on foot is difficult and it can also be reached by boat; Sendero GR 92 is the reference route. The Baterías de Cabo Tiñoso and the lighthouse can be seen 3–4 kilometres away, while the nearby road is the E-22.
