What it is like
Playa de Arroyo de las Cañas is located in Estepona, Málaga, between the Velerín River and the Arroyo de las Cañas stream. This sandy beach is 1,120 metres long and 30 metres wide, combining dark-toned sand and gravel in a semi-urban frontage. The area has vegetation and forms part of a protected area of ornithological interest. It has a seafront promenade, showers, litter bins, cleaning services, food and drink establishments, and hire of sun loungers and parasols. Access is signposted and can be made on foot; there is also an interurban bus connection.
