Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa Guadalmansa is a long, narrow beach of dark sand, 2,500 metres long and 35 metres wide. The semi-urban frontage alternates between developments and services in some sections, while the vegetation and habitats of community interest in the Guadalmansa River Site of Community Importance (SCI) explain its botanical value. The Guadalmansa watchtower, of Muslim origin and dating from the tenth century, adds a specific historical reference. Its usual conditions include moderate swell. It is reached on foot or by car via the A-7, with parking for more than 100 vehicles and an area designated for kitesurfing.
