Playa La Rada extends in front of Estepona's urban centre as a beach 2,300 metres long and 80 metres wide. Its dark sand and calm waters form an urban waterfront accompanied by a promenade, recently regenerated according to the record. The beach offers a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, tourism services, boat hire, sports, children's games and anchorage, as well as a reference to a seagrass meadow of posidonia on the bay floor. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the A-7, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus.
