Playa de Almayate, also called Bajamar, is a very extensive and lightly frequented beach in a very lightly developed area. Its 3,600 metres of length and 50 metres of width form a semi-urban frontage of dark sand, with vegetation, anchorage and moderate swell; the listing also records naturist use and environmental certification. It is reached by car via the N-340, with parking for more than 100 vehicles and an interurban bus service 200 metres away. It has showers, hospitality services, a sports area and lifeguarding.
