What it is like
Playa de Uhía is a small urban beach of golden sand, 50 metres long and 20 metres wide. It receives few bathers despite being on an urban frontage, where vegetation provides a counterpoint to the built environment. The waters are calm. It is reached by car from the C-550, with an interurban connection, and the beach offers showers, foot-washing facilities and cleaning. Its small scale and low use distinguish it within the urban coastline of Muros.
