Playa Somorto is a golden-sand beach with calm waters, located in the Esteiro inlet and accompanied by vegetation. Its 100-metre length and 35-metre width form a semi-urban area of low occupancy, although the natural surroundings are described as being in an average state of conservation. There are marine farms near the beach, another feature that helps explain its coastal landscape. It is accessible by car via the C-550 and by interurban bus; the description lists showers, foot-washing facilities and a connection with the port of Esteiro.
