What it is like
Playa de Torre de la Miel is an isolated beach of dark rounded stones, lying below the mountainous landscape of the Maro-Cerro Gordo cliffs. At 530 metres in length and 20 metres in width, it offers an extensive shore within a Paraje Natural, accompanied by vegetation and an anchorage area. Access is on foot from the N-340 and is considered difficult in the description, although the entry also records pedestrian access and parking for fewer than 50 vehicles. There is an interurban bus between Nerja and Motril 1.5 km away.
