Playa de las Alberquillas is an isolated beach in Nerja, surrounded by vegetation and set within a protected natural setting. Its profile is long and narrow: 650 metres long and only 10 metres wide, with dark sand and a mountainous landscape. The recorded access is on foot, although the nearest road is the N-340; there are between 50 and 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus service 1.5 kilometres away. Facilities include showers, litter bins and cleaning.
