What it is like
Playa de Santa Irene, also known as O Reiro, is a small natural beach of fine white sand, 180 metres long and 25 metres wide. Although the frontage is semi-urban, it retains vegetation and medium occupancy, and combines moderately rough waters with a windy character. Access is straightforward both on foot and by car via the Arteixo-Caión road, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus service. Toilets, showers, food service, cleaning and lifesaving facilities complete the recorded services.
