Playa de Quintanilla is an isolated beach of dark sand and cobbles, 160 metres long and 15 metres wide, facing a semi-urban coastline. Its appearance may vary according to the presence of sand, as the description states that in some summers it is sandy while in others it becomes a field of stones. The usual waves are strong and the beach is associated with a surf area. Access is on foot or by car from the GC-2, with parking and an interurban bus service.
