What it is like
Punta del Riu is located beside the mouth of the Río Seco and retains a protected natural environment, with a promenade and a largely undeveloped character. The cobble beach extends for 400 metres but is barely 8 metres wide, creating a narrow coastal strip. Usual occupancy is low and the waves are moderate. It is easily accessed on foot from avenida Jaume I el Conqueridor, with an interurban bus connection. It is an area authorised for dogs.
