Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de L'Almadrava combines a semi-urban setting of sand and gravel with the proximity of the archaeological site of la Illeta dels Banyets. It extends for 600 metres beside an urban frontage, with a width of 12 metres, golden sand and moderate surf. Access is from the Voramar de les Escultures coastal promenade, which follows the coast and features works by Vicente Ferrero. The beach is affected by regression and rockfalls; it is easily reached on foot or by car, with fewer than 50 parking spaces.
