Playa del Carrer de La Mar occupies the seafront of El Campello’s former fishing quarter, near Torre de la Illeta, the fishing port and the yacht club. It is an urban stretch 1,300 metres long, although only 10 metres wide on average, made up of sand, pebbles and gravel and washed by moderate surf. The seafront promenade follows a very busy shore, accessible on foot or by car via Carrer San Vicente; there are more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus stop 100 metres away. It also offers toilets, food and drink and nautical equipment hire.
