What it is like
Playa de Portiño de A Devesa is an isolated, lightly occupied beach at the foot of a cliff and near a former shellfish holding pond, approximately one kilometre from Rinlo. It is 45 metres long and 15 metres wide, although the listing gives a range of 13 to 150 metres. The shoreline combines sand, rounded stones and dark rock, with moderate waves, within a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Biosphere Reserve. Access is difficult on foot from the N-634, with no specific services recorded.
