Playa de Pociñas is an unspoilt cove of golden sand and rock, hidden below low cliffs. Its 30-metre length and 30-metre width form a compact, isolated space protected as Ramsar, part of the Natura 2000 Network, Site of Community Importance (SCI) and ZEPA, with vegetation and moderate swell. The listing notes that it is practically joined to Playa de Major at low tide, a spatial relationship that helps identify it.
