Playa Zapillo, also known as Las Conchas, is an urban beach in Almería integrated into a fully urban setting. Its dark-sand beach measures 350 metres long by 45 metres wide and is characterised by usually calm waters. The seafront promenade extends its relationship with the city and concentrates a wide range of facilities, including catering, nautical hire, a sports area and a children's area. It is easily reached by car via the AL-3202, with more than 100 parking spaces, an urban bus service and adapted access.
