Playa Nueva Almeria forms an extensive urban beach 1,500 metres long and 45 metres wide, joined to Playa San Miguel and connected to its services and facilities. The sand is dark and the waters are usually calm, in a fully urban frontage with a seafront promenade. Facilities include catering, sun-lounger and parasol hire, nautical activities, a sports area and children's games. It is reached by car via the AL-3202, with more than 100 parking spaces, an urban bus service and adapted access.
